When Priory Press Packaging in Co. Down, Ireland needed to increase folder-gluer productivity, they turned to our UK agent iPack Solutions, and packaging automation consultant John Hall, to help identify the right solution for their unique product mix.

After evaluating their workflow, carton formats, and speed limitations, John recommended the ERGOSA semi-automatic packer with an integrated INH Box Turner — a configuration designed to maximize efficiency without sacrificing flexibility.

The ERGOSA is paired with their Koenig & Bauer OMEGA Allpro 70 — a strategic investment made by Priory Press in 2023.

Priory Press needed a solution powerful enough for high throughput — but also adaptable to their wide product range.

The factors that led them to choose the ERGOSA originally, its modularity and ability to add modules later, are also influencing their strategy for the future.

A simple improvised hand packing station sits in the shadows behind the IMPACK ERGOSA. The ERGOSA in the foreground has inspired the Priory team to continue optimizing their finishing department.
